Our Women's Health service is the second largest in New Zealand with approximately 6,700 deliveries each year. Our major site is Middlemore Hospital and we have three satellite maternity facilities.

Our midwifery staff are dedicated and committed to further improving the quality of our maternity services and to increase the choices for women in South Auckland. We are actively working towards becoming baby friendly.

Women's Health provides gynaecology and maternity services from several South Auckland sites. Gynaecology services include acute and elective gynaecology, colposcopy and urodynamics services. Maternity care at Middlemore (primary, secondary and tertiary level) comprises antenatal care, fetal assessment and high risk services.

Outpatient services are provided from the Manukau SuperClinic™ and Botany Downs SuperClinic™.
