Surgical Services - Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Dental and Burns

Nursing care for these services is delivered from wards 14 and 15, and Kidz First. Ambulatory services are offered from Manukau SuperClinic™. Within the next few months, major reconstruction will be underway to accommodate the National Burns Unit for New Zealand.

As a major teaching hospital, and with a wide variety of both acute and elective surgery, we are able to offer many opportunities for staff to gain extensive experience within a supportive environment. We offer a comprehensive orientation programme with support from our Clinical Nurse Educator. We also offer a Postgraduate Specialty Programme in Burns and Plastics.
