Surgical Services - Oral Health Unit

The Oral Health Unit (Dental) is managed by the ADHB Oral Health Regional Service, and provides a range of oral health care in various settings from primary care through to complex tertiary multi-disciplinary care. Objectives are to maintain and restore to function the hard and soft tissues of the mouth and its supporting and associated structures. In particular those areas affected by major trauma, infection, pathology, developmental anomalies or the underlying medical or psychological status of a person. The Unit remains a focal point for delivery of inpatient and outpatient care for the South Auckland area.
