Specialist Services

Maternal Mental Health
Maternal mental health provide community mental health services targeted at supporting women who require specialist mental health intervention during pregnancy and up to 12 months post-natal.
 

ICT: Intensive Community Team
The multi-disciplinary ICT (nurse/support worker/doctor) has access to Psychology and Occupational Therapy and together provide assertive treatment for consumers with high needs living in the community.
 

Early Psychosis Intervention Team
The Early Psychosis Intervention Team addresses the needs of young people (aged between 16 and 25 years) with emerging or manifest psychotic disorder.
 

Dual Disability Team
We are a tertiary mental health service for people who have an intellectual disability or a head injury, with a co-existing mental illness and complex issues. A regional team, we cover from Mercer up to the top of the North Island. Our Team consists of a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist and a part-time Psychologist based in Northland.
