Social Work

The Social Work team at CMDHB consists of Professional Leaders, Section Heads Seniors, Social Workers and Community Support Workers. They provide counselling, advocacy, education and information in a way that is understood to clients/families/whaanau and their community

Our Social Workers cover the following areas:

• Acute Allied Health  - Surgical, Medical, Children, Women's Health, Emergency Care, Haematology, Renal
• Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation of Older adults, Neuro rehabilitation patients
• Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit
• Needs Assessment and Service co-ordination (NASC)
• Kidz First Child Development Service - Community
• Young Adult Rehabilitation Service
• Community Hospitals - Pukekohe and Franklin Hospitals
• Home Health Care
