Physiotherapists
The Physiotherapy team is an enthusiastic and
dedicated group who actively strive to provide an evidence-based
service. The
Professional Leader for Physiotherapy is responsible for the
professional development and standards of practice of physiotherapists
in the DHB.
The
team consists of Professional Leader, Section Heads, Seniors, Rotational
and Therapy Assistants, who work across the following:

Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit

Acute Allied Health

Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Unit for older adults and
neuro-rehabilitation for patients under 65 years

Needs Assessment and Service co-ordination (NASC)

Kidz First Child Development Service - Community

Mental Health
-
Young Adult Rehabilitation Service

Community Hospitals - Pukekohe and Franklin Hospitals

Home Health Care
We have rotational
positions that are supported by the Section Heads, and are designed as
