Nurse Entry To Practice (NETP) Programme
 
 

Professional Development

The NETP programme consists of 3 components that support your professional development.

1. Clinical Component

Either 2 x 6 monthly rotations OR 1 x 12 month placement offered in a wide variety of clinical placements

 

2. Academic Component

Post Graduate Education and In-Service

  • 12 study days over the year

  • Adult Stream: One 30 point paper in partnership with the University of Auckland

  • Paediatric Stream: One 20 point paper in partnership with Auckland University of Technology (AUT)


3.
PDRP Component

Support to complete and submit a competent Professional Development & Recognition Programme (PDRP) portfolio prior to completion of the NETP programme

Upon successful completion of the NETP programme the New Graduate Nurses will receive a Counties Manukau DHB NETP Completion Certificate.
