Dietitians

Dietitians are the experts in the field of nutrition. They apply scientific knowledge about food and nutrition in the treatment of disease and the prevention of nutrition related problems.

The team at Counties Manukau District Health Board consists of a Professional Leader, Section Heads, Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants. They work as valued members of health professional teams in hospital, outpatient and community settings. They work in the following areas:
